The Michael C. Carlos Museum is the largest collection in the southeastern U.S.: the objects of ancient Egypt, the Near East, Greece, Rome and the ancient Americas. Has a series of articles from Africa and Asia. Located in a Michael Graves-designed building on the campus of Emory University museum was named after its principal benefactor, Michael C. Carlos, President and CEO of Atlanta-based wine and spirits wholesaler national distributing company.

You will not get to see the mummy of Ramses I (which the museum bought in 1999, then real shows manners South graciously returned to Egypt after being formally identified), but you will see many important objects and amazing as a mask of Tutankhamun and Children Tanakhtnettahat chest.
